Recital recordings are due on December 13. Please upload them to an online sharing platform--Google drive is the easiest for me, but others work too.

Please make a video recording of your piece or the section of your piece that you are planning to submit for the recital. If you are unsure what you are supposed to play, please talk to me as soon as possible. Beginners can play a song from their band book.

Please look nice for the recital. Dresses and ties are not necessary, but make sure you’re not wearing PJs when you’re recording!

The recital will be posted on YouTube on December 19. This performance opportunity is a wonderful chance to hear other people playing the same instruments and to hear examples of different levels. Please watch and listen to the whole thing.

Please put the performer's first name and the name of the piece/song at the beginning of the recording. If you can't, let me know so that I can do the edit.

It will be wonderful to hear everyone! Nice job dealing with the strange conditions for music this year!

Happy November! Here is some updated information about lessons and the recital.

--In-person lessons are on hold for the foreseeable future.  The Kirkland studio is currently under construction and the pandemic makes meeting in person inadvisable.  I will update this when there is a vaccine or other news.

--All video recordings for the virtual recital are due on December 13. The recital will be on Saturday December 19 at 6pm on YouTube. The video will be available online afterwards as well. If you do not know what to play, please talk to me as soon as possible. This is a chance to have a performance goal and to hear other people play your instrument.

--The meeting code for online lessons is the same for all of them.  Please let me know if you need an email with a link--I have been sending them manually every week and would like to stop filling your inbox with extra emails!  You can also get a link to your lesson on my website.

--There will be no lessons November 26-29.  If you were charged for those days, your payment will roll over into December.
