There are a few notes about lessons in September and October.

Seattle students will notice that I have been unable to teach in the evenings on both September 24 and October 3. This is due to a strange rehearsal schedule for those two weeks. Lessons will resume as normal after the 3rd. 

Kirkland students need to be aware that the best way to get to the studio for the foreseeable future is going to be through the Dania parking lot on 116th. Construction is making 124th impossible.

It's almost time for school! Here are a few updates for clarinet and saxophone lessons:

--The calendar has been totally cleared for the school year. YOU WILL NEED TO FIND A TIME AGAIN, EVEN IF YOU ALREADY SIGNED UP FOR FALL. This is to keep the calendar from double booking people.

--Lessons are $45/half hour due to increased costs at my studio spaces. 

--Mercer Island is still in process--I should be there on Mondays again, but need confirmation from the school. These lessons are for island residents.

--Monday and Saturday lessons can conflict with afternoon performances and youth symphony coachings. Please keep an eye out for changes to the schedule if these times are best for you.

The studio recital will be at Shoreline Free Methodist Church at 4 o’clock on Sunday, June 2.

Things to know if you are participating live:

— arrive by 3:45

— look nice, no ties or dresses are required, but make sure that you’re wearing appropriate clothing for a formal presentation

— there will be water available at the breaks, but no food is allowed in the performance space

— we will be done by 6 PM

— there will be two stands a piano, and a speaker available

Things to know if participating via video:

— your video is due on Friday, May 31 at 6 PM

— make sure to listen to your video before you send it to me
